What is Nanoneedling?

Nanoneedling with facial acupuncture uses tiny needles and ultra-fine nano tips to stimulate circulation, support collagen production, and enhance product absorption for smoother, brighter skin with little to no downtime.

Best used on delicate areas such as under eye and lips.

How does it work?

The tiny needles create microchannels in the outer layer of the skin (epidermis). These microchannels trigger the skin’s natural healing response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.

As collagen and elastin levels increase, the skin becomes firmer and smoother over time, helping to gradually reduce the appearance of scars and wrinkles.

This treatment can be performed on the face, neck, scalp, stomach, thighs, and arms.

Three Phases of the Wound-Repair Process

Phase 1: Inflammation occurs when the skin is pierced, activating the immune system to clean the wound, remove debris, increase blood flow, and begin forming new tissue.

Phase II: Proliferation: The skin begins rebuilding the wound with new granulation tissue, an essential part of the healing process.

Phase III: Remodeling: The wound is renewed with new dermal tissue and blood vessels as the skin continues to heal and strengthen.

The Addition of Acupuncture

Full-body acupuncture and facial microneedling complement each other by working from both the inside and outside: acupuncture helps improve circulation, reduce inflammation, balance stress responses, and support overall body function, while microneedling stimulates collagen and skin renewal directly in the face.

Together, they may enhance healing, improve skin tone and elasticity, reduce tension that contributes to aging, and support a healthier, more radiant appearance more effectively than either treatment alone. They are paired because acupuncture can promote relaxation and systemic recovery, which may help optimize the skin’s response to the controlled repair process triggered by microneedling.

Treatment

Treatment time:

At the start of the appointment, numbing cream is applied to the face and left on for 15-20 minutes. Body acupuncture needles remain in place for about 30 minutes.

Microneedling appointments can range from 45-min to 1-hour
Nanoneedling appointments can range from 30-min to 45-min

These times reflect total appointment time.

Included:

Body acupuncture to target underlying conditions and support healthy aging by addressing root causes of accelerated aging, such as stress, hormonal imbalances, and emotional factors.
LED Light Therapy or a cooling mask may be part of the treatment.
Dietary and lifestyle recommendations may also be provided after treatment to help maintain long-lasting results.

Results: Visible improvements may take up to two weeks to appear, with optimal results typically achieved after 4–6 sessions.

For the most effective outcome, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is often alternated with Microneedling treatments. Microneedling sessions are generally scheduled 4-6 weeks apart. With proper maintenance, results can last for years.
